Bible verse of the day

1 John 4: 5-6 (TB) They (false prophets) come from the
world; so they talk about worldly things and the world listens to them.
We are from God: whoever knows God, he listens to us; he who
is not of God does not listen to us. That is the sign of the misleading Spirit
of truth and spirit.
1 John 4: 2 (TB) Thus we know the Spirit of God: every
spirit that claims that Jesus Christ has come as a man, comes from God
One time I asked the Lord about this, in this world there is
a philosophy or view of life that appears also as a truth, from there raised
"inspirational quotes" which then used as a benchmark for many people
to direct their way of life. Then what is the difference with the word of God?
What I finally got was this:
Many of the quotes are in accordance with His word, but not
all "agree" with His word. So we must be selective and diligently
match it with what is written in the Bible.
And it turns out that the Bible has also given a note to
warn us, that we must test every spirit, what we hear and read is truly sourced
and in harmony with the approaching Word?
Because the devil can disguise himself in many of these
understandings.
Then what distinguishes it? How do we understand that it
really comes from God or not?

I noted, the answer to that question is:
- about the purity of each philosophy, what root? (Jam 3:17)
- Is the Father elevated through it? Is there an acknowledgment
that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 4: 2).
These two things have so far helped me to be able to sense
and judge what is truly from God.
Because of the fact that the Lord says, there are false
prophets and deceivers. We must be vigilant and always test what they say.
Because it is clearly stated, beyond the word of God, we understand the world,
and the understanding of the world is always contrary to His word.
We must be observant and careful. Not all good advice or
inspiration is truly pure from God. Pay attention to the roots and fruit. 😊
Only the word of the LORD truly "frees us".
Yes ... Let the Holy Spirit bring us to the depth of
recognition and understanding of His word more and more, in HIM.
Hallelujah !!!
